Airgurus Ltd. Co. achieves new milestone with the arrival of its' new helicopter... the Bell 206 BIII. This new baby painted in Airgurus' colors black, white, red and silver, has just successfully completed its' first 60-minute maiden flight in the Philippine skies.
Now available for private charters, helicopter tours and for air ambulance / medevac services, the new addition to Airgurus' helicopter fleet is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment to ensure safety and consistently provide the best service to its' clients.
The Bell 206 BIII which is named as Hawkeye, is suited with Garmin G500H... an all-glass avionics system designed specifically for the VFR Part 27 helicopter market. Airgurus' Garmin G500H is the first in the Philippines. The Garmin's G500H dual-screen electronic flight display provides an affordable flight solution that meets the needs of the most demanding helicopter missions of Airgurus.
The G500H features dual LCD screens with the Bell 206 BIII's Primary Flight Display and the Multifunction Display which covers the three main areas of risk in helicopter operations... inadvertent flight into IMC, controlled flight into terrain and night operations. The Mocha Girls were invited to perform on the first night of Ad Congress held in Camsur, Philippines, specifically at the Governor's Ball and had some flight dilemmas that the organizers thought the girls wouldn't be able to make it to the performance.
What happened was... three of the members of Mocha Girls were booked via a commercial airline while the others went through the other airline which left on time. When Mocha and the 2 other members arrived at the airport, they had problems with uncoordinated boarding and check-in and sooner, they found out that the airplane has already taken off. The girls were stuck in Manila as it was the last flight going to Camsur for that day.
It was 4pm and they were scheduled to perform at Governor's Ball by 10pm. They struggled to find means and ways to get to Camsur on time. They thought of traveling by land however, it would take them 8-10 hours to get there which means they wouldn't be able to make it to their scheduled performance.
Sad and desperate for Mocha Girls were known to be professional performers and they never missed shows, Mocha Unson talked to their manager to look for a helicopter. Their manager got to call Capt. Harry Lero, the President and CEO of Airgurus Ltd. Co. and their problem was solved. They were immediately flown to where Ad Congress was held.

The month of July, 2011 for Airgurus has been a very busy one and the past week especially, is overwhelming. Tons of flights have happened for a full week last week. Our chief pilot, Capt. Harry Lero found himself flying his chopper in places various parts of the Philippines.
Monday, July 18, 2011 – Capt. Lero started with chartering a whole day of dedicated schedule for a very helpful and kind politician’s medical mission in Laguna area.
Tuesday, July 19, 2011 – The Captain had a full day flying a bunch of tourists from Europe, to and from Metro Manila and various parts in the North of Luzon to give them the bestscenic tours of at a bird’s eye-view.
Wednesday, July 20 to July 23, 2011 – The two pilots, Capt. Lero and Capt. Alvin Portas flew chopper #1 to Butuan City to charter corporate VIPs of a mining firm in Mindanao. Geologists and top executives made them very busy. Chopper #2 meanwhile, flown by the highly-rated Capt. Harry Lero Sr. is in Laguna chartering VIPs. During these days, the Airgurus team of executives constantly monitor the whereabouts of choppers through the high tech tracking system. Airgurus Ltd. Co. is one of the only 2 helicopter / aircraft company in the Philippines with real time tracking system ensuring our clients' safety (the other one is not in the charter business).
Saturday, July 23, 2011 – All our pilots returned late afternoon to home base thinking that they’d be able to get some rest only to find out they have a full Sunday schedule of chartering VIPs to and from various parts of Southern Luzon.
Sunday, July 24, 2011 – Today for our chief pilot, was dedicated to safely charter to and from Tagaytay a regular client… President and CEO of Versace. At past 2pm, he landed at the hangar only to go back to Tagaytay, to respond to amedical evacuation (Medevac) of a vehicular accident that happened at the time he was heading back to Manila. Airgurus’ medical team acted on a fast response in minutes. The motorcycle rider in critical condition was immediately and directly brought to Makati Medical Center’s helipad for immediate treatment at the hospital’s emergency room.
It’s been a hectic week for Airgurus… capping it off with a life saved!

A thrilling way to see the growing and bustling Metro Manila is via a chopper ride which can surely make loved ones happy especially, when it is a teenage daughter's birthday wish. Mr. Anthony Pangilinan... a loving father, husband, Christian, speaker and missionary, treated his beloved daughter, Ella... for a ride of her life on her 15th birthday via Airgurus helicopters!
How excited Ella was when she was about to board the chopper! Of course, Ella flew over the metro with her dad and her younger siblings while mommy Maricel Laxa-Pangilinan stayed with us in our office waiting for family to return from the ride as she was already due to give birth anytime that day. True enough, Mrs. Pangilinan, whom we had a wonderful time with, gave birth the next day.

I like receiving white and red flowers from friends too. White symbolizes friendship. Red is all about love and passion.

Love Notes - Leaving me a tiny love note makes my day and my heart melt especially when they are left in locations that typically checks daily like my bag, wallet, pillow, mirrors, day planners, etc. For a woman, telling us how much you love us, how you are going to miss us and wishing us a good day or how you can not wait to see us again is adorable! A little effort into love notes goes a long way!
3. Cook Dinner with Matching Candlelight - Ah yes! It is not just on the male species' stomach that gets love through. Cooking our favorite meals and spicing it up with beautiful candle-lit surrounding is guaranteed to get us women running into your arms! Make her feel truly loved when you serve favorite cuisine along with some red wine and gaze into her eyes as they light up from the golden flames of lit candles. 5. A Slow Dance - Cheesy? Hey, come on! You will be surprised how easily a romantic slow dance can put a smile on our faces!
6. Stuff Toys - Women just love stuffed animals and will love them at any age! It's because we find them cute and we enjoy cuddling with them as if it were a new born baby! Don't ask why any further! It just does the trick!
7. Hold Me In Your Arms - I like being held just as I like kissing. It's just extra special when you hold us women naturally demonstrating that you care about us. Who know, this move might get her fall asleep easily in your arms and wakes up smiling at you beneath the morning sunshine! Oh, love!
8. Compliments - Don't be flat dead! Giving a sweet compliment will send a rush of emotions to her head and she will feel love struck every time you give her an unexpected compliment. I like it. I'm a sucker for it!
9. Unique Dates - I like it being spontaneous! Any guy can do dinner and drinks. You want to keep the romance alive and make sure neither of you get bored doing the same things all the time.
